Terms & Conditions of Sale

Welcome to Refined Roots. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the purchase of our products. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms

Our Products (Bespoke Goods)

All hair extensions sold by Refined Roots are shipped directly from our specialist manufacturers.

  • Custom Selection: Because you select the specific length, colour, and texture at the point of order, these items are classified as bespoke/made-to-order.

  • Colour Accuracy: We make every effort to display colours accurately. However, due to variations in digital screens, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

Order Cancellation

  • 24-Hour Window: You have a 24-hour window from the time of purchase to request a cancellation or change to your order.

  • Late Cancellations: Once the order has been processed by our manufacturer, it cannot be cancelled or amended. By purchasing, you acknowledge that the standard 14-day "cooling-off" period for online goods does not apply to bespoke items once production has started.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Timeline: Our standard delivery timeframe is up to 14 working days.

  • International Shipping: Orders may be shipped from outside the UK.

  • Customs & Duties: The customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or local clearance fees. Refined Roots is not liable for delays caused by customs or international couriers.

 Hygiene & Returns Policy

In accordance with UK Health and Hygiene regulations, hair extensions are a hygiene-sensitive product.

  • The Hygiene Seal: We will only accept returns for a "change of mind" refund if the hygiene seal remains unbroken and the packaging is unopened.

  • ​

  • Opened Products: Once the seal is broken or the hair is removed from its bundle, it is deemed "used" and cannot be returned for health and safety reasons.

Faulty Goods & Warranty

  • 30-Day Right to Reject: If you believe the hair is faulty, you must report this to us within 30 days of receipt.

  • Testing: We reserve the right to have the hair returned to us for testing.

  • Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:

    • Incorrect professional installation.

    • Failure to follow the Refined Roots Aftercare Guide.

    • Chemical alterations (bleaching, dyeing, or toning).

    • Excessive heat (over 180°C)

 Professional Use Disclaimer

Refined Roots products are intended for professional use only. We are not responsible for any damage to the extensions or the customer's natural hair resulting from DIY fitting or services provided by a third-party stylist.

Limitation of Liability

Refined Roots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to loss of income due to hair appointment cancellations.

Privacy & Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By ordering, you consent to us sharing your delivery details with our international manufacturing partners and couriers for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order.
